Pilates in the park: The Breeze & Sweaty Betty


Join Canterbury’s Breeze and the team from Sweaty Betty on Saturday 1 February to kickstart your morning with a free Pilates class in Hagley Park.

After the success of Pilates on the Pier in 2024, The Breeze with Sweaty Betty are hosting a relaxing morning of mat Pilates for all to enjoy. This is a free community event with Sweaty Betty spot prizes up for grabs.

When: 9am, Saturday 1 February, 2025
Where: Bob Deans Field in North Hagley Park
What to expect:
• 45 minutes of Pilates focused on building strength, flexibility, and full-body toning
• Dynamic and fun movements that challenge your muscles while keeping you engaged and smiling
• All with the backdrop of beautiful Hagley Park

Whether you want to improve your core strength, release some tension, or just enjoy an invigorating workout in the park, this event is for you. And don’t worry – no previous Pilates experience is required. Bring your friends, yoga mat, water, and sunblock, and start your day the right way with Sweaty Betty and The Breeze Soul Food Session, Pilates in the Park.
