A smooth start


Blueberry smoothie

Ingredients: (makes 2-4 glasses)

  • 1 1/2 cups unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 1/2 cups blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 banana (frozen)
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • 1/2 Tsp vanilla essence
  • 2 Tbsp vanilla protein powder (optional)
  • 1 cup spinach (optional)

Method

  1. Add the milk to your blender, then the rest of the ingredients.
  2. Blend, starting on low speed and increasing to high until the mixture is smooth (about 30-60 seconds).
  3. Pour into glasses and serve.

Top Tips
Use any non-dairy milk such as coconut, almond, rice, or oat milk, or regular dairy milk.
Substitute avocado for banana.
Swap maple syrup or agave for honey, or omit sweeteners.
