Garden high tea: Chateau on the Park

Something about sitting down for a High Tea feels extra special. It’s an occasion, and a moment to soak up the finest things in life; deliciously made food, beautifully brewed teas, and fabulous company.

High Tea is an experience that everyone can enjoy, whether it is to catch up with old friends, a treat for you and mum, or something special for the little ones.

One that needs to be on your radar is the Garden High Tea by Chateau on the Park, at the Double Tree Hilton Hotel. The entire experience will have you wowed, especially the gorgeous setting and impeccably made and presented menu.

Served at the Garden Court Brasserie, you could not imagine a more serene setting to indulge in a delectable array of sweet and savoury treats.

Everything on the menu is a highlight, with each assortment made with care by the talented team of chefs in the Chateau on the Park kitchen.

Delicate cucumber and cream cheese sandwiches, and flavourful parma ham and melon skewers delight the tastebuds and are amongst the array of beautifully presented savoury options.

Of course, a High Tea isn’t complete without a sprinkle of sweetness, and the sweet treats available are truly something. The fluffy sweet scones with jam and butter cannot be missed, and the mini vanilla crème brulees take centre stage, among the many other sweet classics.

The assortment of sweet and savoury bites is perfectly paired with your drink of choice; freshly brewed tea and coffee, or the option of sparkling wine if you’re in the mood to celebrate. There are vegetarian and gluten-free options available too, so something for everyone.

Enjoy an afternoon relaxing and indulging in the beautiful rose garden, where tulips are taking centre stage this spring. The Garden High Tea is available daily, from midday to 4pm. Bookings are essential and can be made at the website below.
