Chocolate truffle martini
Is it dessert? Is it a cocktail? We’re pretty sure mum won’t quibble with the semantics when you present her with this delicious, chocolatey treat.
Ingredients:
- 60ml vodka (vanilla or chocolate vodka)
- 30ml chocolate liqueur
- 30ml Irish cream liqueur
- 30ml cream
- Ice cubes, 2 or 3
Method:
- In a cocktail shaker, combine vodka, chocolate liqueur, Irish cream, and the cream.
- Add ice cubes and shake vigorously for 10 to 15 seconds, until frothy and well-chilled.
- Strain into a chilled glass. Top with chocolate shavings, a dusting of cocoa powder, or a small mini chocolate truffle on the rim for presentation.
Tips:
- Use heavy cream for a richer, more decadent texture.
- Add a dash of vanilla extract for an extra layer of flavour.
- Pairs beautifully with chocolate desserts, truffles, or biscotti.
