Our best joiners


Our top joinery experts honoured their industry’s best at the recent 2023 Blum Canterbury Master Joiner Awards.

The supreme award went to MWF Manufacturing Ltd for a combined breakfast bar and bench top in neolith porcelain, although on the night it was Sydenham Joinery that took home four top awards, and was runner-up in a further two categories.

The Best Apprentice award went to Sam Kempton for a project involving a fitout for a new hotel bar and restaurant.

Other awards were: Best Apprentice – Sam Kempton, Best Benchtop – Alsop Joinery, runner-up Sydenham Joinery Ltd,
Best Kitchen under $30,000 – Sydenham Joinery, runner-up – Finesse Joinery, Best Speciality Fitment – MWF Manufacturing Ltd, runner-up Sydenham Joinery, Best Kitchen $30,000 – $50,000 – Evolution Interiors, runner-up Ryans Kitchens, Best Door or Window – Sydenham Joinery Ltd, Best Kitchen $50,000 plus – Sydenham Joinery Ltd, runner-up Alsop Joinery, Best Kitchen Design – Sydenham Joinery Ltd, Industry Award – John Thomson.
