One of Nelson’s biggest events, the Nelson Busker’s Festival is sure to excite and entertain for another year. From Mexico to Italy, these buskers have shows galore to please the whole family. If you’ve managed to shake the kids for a night, the Buskers at the Boathouse event promises unpredictable content that’s sure to leave you in stitches.

Nelson and Mapua

For the dancing enthusiasts amongst us, The Soul Train 1970s Disco Party should not be missed. Held in Mapua, just a short 20 minute drive from Nelson, put on your dancing shoes and drive down with your summer crew to unlock your inner grease lightning.

Stan Walker joins Annie Crummer and other musical greats for the 2023 Nelson Opera in the Park. Bringing vocal brilliance, these melodic acts promise to provide the good times, all you have to provide is your own picnic dinner. This carbon neutral event promises you a sweet sounding summer.

For combined music and entertainment from world-renowned artists, A Summer’s Day Live Tour sees UB40, Jefferson Starship and Dragon take the stage. Dance the night away to hit songs, there is no better way to bring in the New Year.
