A new North Canterbury wedding venue that combines timeless elegance and historic charm with heartfelt hospitality.

Bramleys is the freshest new addition to the Canterbury wedding scene. Co-owner Brendon explains, “Bramleys offers a vintage-style venue, with all the modern amenities to help your wedding run smoothly.”

Located on a rural property in Flaxton, Bramleys has been designed incorporating pieces of architectural salvage from earthquake-damaged properties, creating a unique setting as the ideal wedding venue.

Bramleys difference, a three-day celebration package, where couples have exclusive use of the venue. Including: “On-site accommodation for the bride and groom, which makes for the perfect suite to get ready on the day and spend your first night as newlyweds.”

With plenty of time for wedding rehearsal and decorating your ceremony space. The conundrum is which areas of Bramleys to utilise? The Courtyard, Avenue, Quadrangle or Carriage House are all great options, with different aesthetics to suit a range of styles. However, do not fear, “all locations and spaces are available for photo opportunities, no need to leave the party for photos!” Brendon insists.

Once the ‘I do’s’ have been exchanged in your selected spot, and the shadows lengthen, the Pavilion is the place to dine and dance the night away. As newlyweds you can end your day with a short walk back to your accommodation and leave the pack down for the following day. Friends and family are of course encouraged back to the venue to assist and finish off any leftovers. If this sounds like a great celebration, get in touch and let the Bramleys team work with you to bring your perfect wedding to life any time of the year.
