Welcome back to another exciting issue.

This issue is a bumper one, full of reading and ideas if you’re planning a conference, a special event or even a wedding.

Canterbury is full of gorgeous venues, offering unique spaces for all manner of get-togethers from small corporate gatherings to large-scale celebrations and conferences.

Check them out on the following pages, and remember that it’s not too soon to book in your staff or family Christmas function.

Now, let’s talk pies. Kiwis love them, eating an average of 15 pies per person per year. That’s a whopping 66 million pies and they come with such a huge range of fillings that there really is something for everyone. From salmon and bacon to classic steak and kidney, mince and cheese and just good old mince, they’re hard to resist. Read on and you’ll find out more.

I catch up with an internationally renowned flamenco guitarist who is headed this way to entertain you, and talk with a local makeup artist working at New Zealand Fashion Week.

Like the pies, there is something for everyone in this issue. Fashion is to the fore as usual, ahead of cuisine, home and motoring. What are you waiting for?
