For nuptials to treasure: Celebrant Jenni Gibson

While most people understand that you can’t have a wedding without a wedding celebrant, that celebrant’s role is far wider than simply being the facilitator of the legal requirements for getting married.

Jenni Gibson, a celebrant for some 14 years knows that celebrants need to be people-oriented, compassionate and tolerant, as well as accepting and accommodating of differences.

“My aim is always to make each couple’s ceremony unique, to reflect what makes them who they are and what makes them different. I help couples through all of the marriage process, offer ideas for their ceremony and always listen to help them create something to reflect their wishes and make their wedding day memorable. Flexibility is the key along with a good helping of creativity.”

Jenni has loved every minute of the 130 wedding ceremonies she has performed.

From an initial meeting with a couple to discuss their ideas for a ceremony, advising on the legalities, helping write wedding vows, suggesting music and readings, right through to ensuring everything and everyone is in place for the big day, Jenni is able to co-ordinate your ceremony from start to finish.

“I am happy to perform my ceremonies anywhere in New Zealand, at any time of the day and at any location from on a boat in a harbour to on top of a mountain.” As well as being a celebrant, Jenni is also a Wedding Planner/Co-ordinator for small intimate bespoke weddings.

Jenni offers a truly comprehensive, personalised service.
