Designed with men in mind: Cutler & Co

At the heart of Cutler & Co is a sensitivity to the nuances of living and dressing in Canterbury and, cleverly, they distil that understanding into their men’s clothing designs and range.

Leo Jacket, beanie and Hastin Trousers.

Store manager Liam Strachan says winter 2021 is all about soft, refined layering.

“Corduroy is impossible to ignore this season. It’s easily our biggest selling fabric. We have cord blazers, trousers, shirts, vests and casual jackets in every hue imaginable.”

And there’s a lot to choose from – soft and chunky or smooth and refined. Liam has his favourites: “The Hastin trousers and Leo jacket in washed cord, definitely. Wear those with a Dstrezzed t-shirt for casual comfort or a Cutler & Co shirt for a slightly dressier approach.”

Bright is back. Liam says think burnt orange, forest green, ruby red and caramel. And continuing with the soft theme, he is particularly excited about the new 100 percent merino knitwear range.

“These feature an innovative dyeing process that achieves a textural look while keeping an incredibly soft and smooth touch.”

Designed here, to be worn here, you can check out the soft and brights at 678 Colombo St, Christchurch or visit the website.
