For the first time ever in New Zealand, ChristchurchNZ is thrilled to announce a Gold Cup Slopestyle event – a top-tier competition on the Freeride Mountain Bike Association’s (FMBA) World Tour. This event will showcase mind-blowing tricks, massive jumps, and intense competition, attracting elite athletes and offering significant points and prize money. 2025 New Zealand Squash Open

Isaac Theatre Royal: 4 – 9 March 2025

The iconic Isaac Theatre Royal will play host to the world’s best squash athletes for the 2025 New Zealand Squash Open in Ōtautahi, Christchurch. Internationally ranked players, including Kiwi Paul Coll will battle it out on the Isaac Theatre Royal’s all glass court, as part of New Zealand’s largest ever squash festival. All men’s players are inside the World Top 65 including former World #1s Paul Coll and Karim Gawadin, and all women’s players are inside the World Top 45. Sisters Tinne Gilis (World #5) and defending champion Nele Gilis-Coll (Paul’s wife) headline the Women’s Open draw alongside New Zealand’s Joelle King.
