Behind many of Canterbury’s family and corporate events for more than 50 years, this charming club in the heart of Cashmere is proudly home to generations of celebrations.
Our team understand what you need almost before you say it,” says Cashmere Club functions manager Kayla Woolley. Recently renovated, the club’s four function spaces are looking better than ever.
The Garden Bar is the largest and most utilised room. It seats 120 people, 170 theatre style, or 200 for a cocktail event. The room has had all new curtains and carpet, wall mounted televisions for presentations, and the in-house speaker system including a Bluetooth microphone.
The Cashmere Lounge seats 60 for a meal, 70 theatre style, or 80 standing and has a wall mounted television for presentations. Both offer a fantastic indoor/outdoor flow, while the Garden Bar and the renovated Sports Hall can be combined as one space for especially large functions.
The Sports Hall is perfect for live events, dances, tournaments, boxing, and prizegivings. It accommodates 200 for a meal, 300 theatre style, and 400 standing.
The smaller Heathcote Lounge seats 40 for a meal, 50 theatre style or 80 standing. “It is beautifully intimate for an evening or winter party,” says Kayla.
