Canterbury’s best American classics: American Classic Car Club Canterbury Inc.
Canterbury’s best classic cars of American origin will come together at Woodend’s Gladstone Park this November.
See Canterbury’s best collection of American classics – from Ford to Dodge, Chevrolet to Cadillac – at this annual event hosted by the American Classic Car Club Canterbury Inc. Formed during the early 1970s, the club continues into its 55th year in 2026 with like-minded people of all ages sharing a passion for American classic cars. Club members are owners of a wide range of cars, from classic icons to modern vehicles – which range from those that are impeccably restored to those that are a work in progress.
On Sunday 1 November, USA Day celebrates the brilliance and beauty of such iconic vehicles, with food and trade stalls, prizes for the top five classics, and a $10 entry per person, with free admission for those under 15-years-old.
From 10am until 2.30pm within Woodend’s Gladstone Park, enjoy incredible American vehicles up close and a day out in North Canterbury. Visit www.americanclassiccarclub.org.nz.
