“My love for photography began at a young age because my father was passionate about photography. He captured so many beautiful family moments which became treasured memories for us. Those images showed me the power of photography, how a single photograph can preserve emotions, relationships, and moments that might otherwise fade with time,” Crystal shares.
Before someone steps in front of her camera, Crystal dedicates time to understand her subject’s characteristics, how they interact, and what brings them joy. “The most meaningful images come from creating a connection and understanding the person in front of the camera.” Crystal then guides them through the planning process – helping with concepts, locations, posing, and wardrobing – to ensure the session reflects their personality and vision. “I provide gentle direction while allowing space for natural moments to unfold. My aim is never to force poses but to create an environment where people can simply be themselves.”
