10 years of gifts: Coco Gifts

Coco Gifts recently celebrated its 10th birthday with a weekend-long party for customers.

The boutique gift shop in Rutland Street, St Albans, is owned by Liz van Montfort, who bought the business in 2015. “It’s been quite the rollercoaster, with roading changes and cycleways, then lockdowns and the pandemic,” she says. “But through it all, a very loyal database of customers and the support of local shoppers has helped Coco thrive.”

Well-known for its window displays, a wide selection of gifts, and outstanding customer service, one of the boutique’s secrets is staff member Andrea Brookland, who has been there since it first opened. “I don’t know how I’d do it without Andrea,” Liz says.

“She loves Coco as much as I do.”

This Christmas, skip purchasing from overseas megastores and instead walk into a local business to get a real feel for the presents you want to gift this holiday season.

You won’t be disappointed by the fabulous selection at Coco, the complimentary gift wrapping, and the exceptional customer service. Coco really has something for everyone, from all budgets to all ages.

Visit the website to see some of the best sellers, or follow them on Facebook and Instagram for a sneak peak of the new arrivals.
