Winning days each way: Addington Raceway

The thrill of sport, glamour of fashion, fun of socialising and luxury of hospitality come together for a day at the races. And this extraordinary Cup Week, Addington Raceway has two excitement-filled race days to look forward to.

Tickets are selling fast – and some areas are sold out for both the IRT NZ Trotting Cup Day and the Show Day Races.

With many of the world’s events cancelled due to Covid-19, Addington is sparing no effort to ensure revellers have so much more than just a day at the races.

HOT TO TROT
The IRT NZ Trotting Cup Day on Tuesday, November 10 is the infamous mid-week party of the year – and 2020 is shaping up to be even more standout.
Capacity may be reduced, but organisers have added bespoke cocktail bars, live music, DJs, delicious cuisine offerings – and even a rooftop party.
Five of the seven hospitality areas have already sold out by early October, with tickets also selling fast to the Lindauer Lawn and The Edge Public Village, too. TAB have upped the stakes, and are offering new users of its app bonus bets of up to $100. No walk ups, so get your tickets before they sell out. Visit www.addington.co.nz for more information, to buy tickets and to check out The Crossing Fashion Starts Here best dressed competition prizes.

BEST OF SHOW
The Show Day races on Friday November 13 is a fun family day out on Canterbury Anniversary Day. There will be no surcharges despite the public holiday, and entry will be via gold coin donation to Maia Health Foundation.
