Tee off for charity


Showcasing wine, artisan products and the Pegasus Golf & Sports Club, the inaugural North Canterbury Wine Region Charity Golf Day will be held on Friday November 26.

The Charity Golf Day will aid the Rural Support Trust – North Canterbury.

The event will be limited to 88 participants (22 teams of four players). North Canterbury Wine Region will be represented by personalities from within the wine industry, locally and nationally.

North Canterbury Rural Support Trust helps locals in tough times. Part of a nationwide network supporting farmers and their families through tough times, it offers free and confidential assistance through area reps/facilitators who are rural people who have themselves faced the challenges rural life brings. Canterbury Rural Support Trust is a charitable trust that encompasses the five district councils of Kaikoura, Hurunui, Waimakariri, Selwyn and Christchurch, including Banks Peninsula.
