More school holidays have arrived and so has the time to get thinking about all the ways to keep your young ones busy and entertained. As we welcome the warmer weather, Christchurch has plenty to offer in the form of child-friendly fun.

Here are a few of Metropol’s suggestions:

Laser Strike Christchurch
Fun for kids and adults alike, a few games at Laser Strike Christchurch will get the blood pumping and ensure plenty of competitive fun and laughs. A great option for big groups of all ages, or birthday parties. A party room can be hired for BYO food after the games.

Christchurch Adventure Park
So many different experiences are available at Christchurch Adventure Park. Ziplining, walking, mountain biking, and specific options for younger children, such as the fairy doors and kids’ bike loop. A perfect outing for a sunny spring day.

Chipmunks
For children aged 11 and under, Chipmunks is the ultimate playground. An adventure full of running, jumping, sliding, and climbing, youngsters are sure to burn up all that holiday energy after a few hours. Let them run wild while you relax at the café.

Zone Bowling Garden City
You can’t beat a few games of bowling. It is guaranteed fun for the whole family. Zone Bowling Garden City doesn’t just stop at bowling. The kids will love the newly added timezone, so they can get into all the arcade games while parents enjoy a drink at the bar.

Clip ‘n climb
Where theme park meets climbing wall. Clip ‘n Climb is a must-try these school holidays; the indoor climbing venue has 38 different climbs, each with automatic belay devices. Just clip on your harness and climb, then get gently lowered to the ground.
