Proceed Building found 2020 to be a busy and productive year – albeit filled with the unexpected challenges resulting from the global pandemic. Metropol catches up with director and qualified joiner Ian Mayer.

“I would like to thank my exceptional team for its hard work and dedication through 2020, and particularly for the effort to ensure Covid-19 protocols continue to be followed,” Ian says.

Throughout the year the team has been thrilled to have clients return time and again with new projects large and small. It’s no surprise when Ian alone has over 40 years of experience in joinery and building, while combined, the rest of the team has over 30 years’ experience.

Their expertise enables them to run the gamut from remediating leaky homes, to new house builds and architectural builds, renovations, commercial projects, and external works such as retaining walls.

“If your project has detailed joinery or complex structural details, we have the experience to assist you through the process from costing to completion,” says Ian.

“Recent projects include insurance rebuild work, retaining walls, restaurant and café fit-outs, conservatories, and renovating central city apartments.”
