Movember for men’s mental health

If you’ve grown a mo yourself or watched a partner or sibling get the upper lip fuzz for mental health, it’s likely you’re familiar with Movember.

Movember started in 2003, and is currently the leading charity changing the face of men’s health. To be part of Movember you can grow a moustache to show your support for men’s mental health this November, or for those who can’t grow a mo, or who just want to take it a step further, here are some other things the people behind the Movember movement encourage you to do.

Move for mental health. Take part by running or walking 60km or more during Movember.

Host a mo-ment, an event that raises awareness and funds for men’s health. This could be a pub quiz, ball, dinner party, or anything else you can come up with.

If there is something that you think you can do to help men’s mental health, this is as good a time as any to do it.

With a few more days until November, now is a great time to start preparing for Movember and get your friends in on this important mental health campaign.
