French High Tea in Merivale: Maison de Crepe

Whether you are popping in for daily coffee and croissant takeaway or a long lunch with the ladies, prepare yourself for a bit of an escape to France.

Maison de Crepe’s menu is not just crepes – it is a celebration of French home cooking. If it is a drink you desire, there is a full wine list. Now too the restaurant has launched its fabulous French High Tea with delicious mini-croissants, freshly-made savoury crepe scrolls, blinis and a selection of French patisserie worthy of Marie Antoinette.

Macarons, madeleines, crepes, mini waffles, French caramel brownies and French cheesecakes are washed down with a glass of bubbles and a hot drink of your choice for just $49.

Bookings are essential and can be made via the website, or by calling 03 355 8882 to speak to one of the friendly staff.

The restaurant has a private dining room perfect for special bookings. The French inspired décor is ideal for receptions, corporate events, tastings, anniversaries and baby showers.

Founder Sheena Hemens is a Francophile and says, “This has been a tough few years for hospitality but we are working hard and making sure everyone has the best French experience possible.”

You’ll find Maison de Crepe at 106 Papanui Road, Merivale.
