Delicious, fresh fare: Urban Revival

We’re all foodies at heart and it’s great to know that we have plenty of choice, and not just in the central city.

The growing hub of Silverstream is home to one innovative, fully licensed eatery where fresh is best, and as local as possible.

Urban Revival is open seven days a week and has two fabulous cuisine chefs on board, for diners on Thursday and Friday evenings.

Pop in during the day and enjoy delicious baked muffins, scones, brioche and cinnamon scrolls, plus many more tempting treats, made fresh daily. Or dine at night later in the week.

The menu includes pizzas, burgers, Chatham Island blue cod ‘fish ‘n chips’, enjoyed with local wines or one of the five Three Boys beers on tap.

“Our focus is on serving fresh locally sourced products, using the ‘Made in North Canterbury’ ethic,” says Urban Revival owner Clare Giffard.

“For something a little different, we have a range of delicious raw slices, and fresh blended smoothies that will set you up for the day – try the mixed berry banana with coconut water. Or revive with a pick-me-up, hot Three Llamas coffee, a blend roasted exclusively for us using ethically-sourced Peruvian beans,” she adds.

You will find Urban Revival at 42 Silverstream Boulevard, in Kaiapoi.
