Bookshop of adventure: The Page and Post

When a small independent bookstore consistently maintains an online inventory of every book in stock, with a full description of each book, you know customer service is its chief priority.

When this same bookstore receives customer feedback, such as “It feels like a library here,” and “It wraps around you,” you know you’ve entered a bookshop like no other.

The Page and Post Booksellers may be located in Geraldine but its name has grown well beyond the district, thanks to owners Joe and Belinda Roberts.
Belinda’s strong librarian background is reflected in the physical set-up, with dedicated sections for children, young adults, classics, adult fiction, poetry, memoirs, non-fiction and NZ focused.

Artists and calligraphers have access to quality products here, such as paints from Maimeri, Classico, and Derivan, and exquisite European stationery, calligraphy sets and inks.
Unusual jigsaws challenge puzzle enthusiasts, and children love exploring the latest book releases available in the dedicated children’s section.

“There are things here you won’t see elsewhere – lots of beautiful things displayed in a thoughtful, caring manner. It’s an adventure. That’s why we are a destination shop,” Belinda says.

For a wraparound adventure, visit The Page and Post Booksellers, located at 26 Talbot Street, Geraldine or shop online.
