A summer stunner: The Fitting Room

As more and more clothing manufacturers worldwide are stepping up to planet responsibility, it’s heartening to see producers of swimwear are contributing significantly to issues around environment.

Deborah Lewthwaite, owner of bra specialist boutique The Fitting Room, says many of the swimwear brands in-store are developing a range of swimsuits of recycled origin.|

“We see swimsuits that have been made from recycled fishing nets, while others, such as all of the Zoggs range, are made from recycled plastic,” she says.

Another big and necessary advancement is swimwear made of fabric with higher resistance to chlorine; no longer need we face the depressing sight of a much loved but also much perished swimsuit.

The Fitting Room specialises in fuller cup bras (sizes C to K), and swimwear, such as Jantzen, Sunseeker, Seafolly and Freya, also come in fuller cups.

For a welcoming, private, one-on-one consultation, Deborah recommends booking an appointment online.

With two locations, Fendalton and Sydenham (the latter has great behind-store parking), make this a stunner summer in something fabulous from The Fitting Room…and while you’re there, why not gift the girlfriends a Christmas voucher? They’ll love you for it!
