Seven years on from starting her new venture, TwentyFour Catering, Ashburton chef Chantelle Quinn is quietly confident there is no event too big or small for her to tackle.

“It’s always nerve-wracking to start a business, and even more so when what you’re offering is something a bit different,” Chantelle says.

“I love getting to know what people really want to eat and then sourcing the very best options for them.”

Private in-home dining is a service that Chantelle has seen really grow since starting TwentyFour Catering.

What once might have been considered an option just for the rich and famous is much more common these days as an ‘affordable special occasion’.

Chantelle says the work is equally rewarding at a wedding for 250 people or a charity event for 400!

“Being part of creating something special for a couple’s big day, well that’s always going to be a privilege and an honour.”
