Wake up looking your best: The Beauty Parlour Fendalton
As we age, our lips and brows lose colour and definition. Semi-permanent cosmetic treatments such as ombré brows and lip blush help restore a more youthful appearance while simplifying your daily beauty routine.
“People often worry about having eyebrows that are too dark,” says Angela McCarthy-Coffin, owner of The Beauty Parlour in Fendalton. “Ombré brows create a soft, powdery, natural-looking finish. My approach is always that less is more, although I’m happy to build the colour if that’s what the client wants.”
One of the most common questions Angela is asked is whether the treatment hurts.
“Our clients experience little to no discomfort because we apply a topical anaesthetic cream beforehand,” she says. “In fact, some people are so relaxed they fall asleep.”
Another popular treatment is lip blush, which restores the colour and definition that lips naturally lose over time.
Like ombré brows, the treatment is completed over two sessions, with the first establishing the shape and foundation colour, and the second refining the final result.
Lip blush typically lasts two to three years, while ombré brows generally last around two years. More than just a time-saving beauty treatment, these low-maintenance enhancements help clients wake up feeling polished, confident and ready to face the day.
