What are the showcases about?

How much does it cost to attend, and where do I get tickets?
Tickets for the Christchurch Wedding Expo are $25 online and $35 at the door – getting you inside the entire expo and to all showcases. For a more luxurious experience, consider booking VIP tickets, which include a drink on entry, canapés, early access, and a goodie bag with discounts and vouchers worth more than $3500.
Is it a good place to find unique/bespoke options, or just standard services?
All our vendors think every wedding is as unique and bespoke as you. This is a great opportunity to speak to the people behind the emails and flesh out what you have in mind to make your day truly yours. There will be standard services on offer too if you are looking to recreate something that has inspired you.
Should I attend if my wedding date is still far away (like 2027 or 2028), or if it’s very soon?
All brides, grooms, and wedding dates are welcome and encouraged! Whether you have only just started your journey or are counting down the months, discover multiple vendors in every field to be able to tie up the loose ends, inspire an addition to your day, or help get the ball rolling.
How long should I plan to spend at the expo, and is parking available?
We recommend allocating at least two hours for the Christchurch Wedding Expo to embrace the full experience and everything that Canterbury wedding vendors have to offer. This allows time to meet and chat with vendors as well as sit down and listen to some of the on-stage showcases. Parking is available on nearby streets, or park in several allocated Wilson parking zones around Te Pae. Key times: 10am VIP entry, 12pm general admission, 4pm prize drawn, 5pm event ends.
