Riccarton Park kicks things off with The Grand Tour and celebrated music duo SACHI on Saturday 8 November, Barneswood Farm NZ 1000 Guineas Day. Then, there’s just two days to recharge before Addington Raceway’s IRT New Zealand Trotting Cup Day on Tuesday 11 November – the jewel in the crown of Addington Cup Week providing stunning style and a captivating mixture of celebration and connection. Riccarton Park’s TAB Mile Day follows on Wednesday 12 November, promising the same excitement, glamour and outstanding racing. Take Thursday to enjoy the city and hopeful sunshine, before Addington’s Show Day Twilight Races take over on Friday 14 November, where the action continues with a relaxed and vibrant afternoon into evening. Finish the week strong with Saturday races at Riccarton Park. Martin Collins NZ Cup and Al Basti Equiworld NZ 2000 Guineas Day 2025 promises a wonderful finale.
Addington Raceway’s New Zealand Cup Day begins at 11am, where The Infield offers a brand new opportunity to party, brought to you by Hyoketsu and The Edge. DJs will play all day and the renowned Savage and Shapeshifter headline after the last race. With The Crossing Cup Day Fashion Competition now accessible to all, there’s no missing out on any of the entertainment. Riccarton Park’s three days of party continues through to fashion coordinator Zane Tate’s fashion competition showcase on 12 and 15 November. Last year’s winner Danni Alfeld became New Zealand’s most fashionable racegoer – so you don’t want to miss this year’s event.
