Accessible art: Windsor Gallery
The search for the perfect piece of art ends here.
Finding the ideal artwork to transform a wall or display case just got easier, thanks to Windsor Gallery’s latest exhibition, The Premier Art Collection.
Bringing together more than 40 highly regarded artists, the show offers a rare chance to view some of New Zealand’s leading creatives under one roof.
Open from 10am to 4pm on 8 and 9 November, the exhibition will feature a diverse mix of mediums, including bronze sculpture, ceramics, woodwork, graphite, oils, mixed media, and photography.
“I’m excited to present this collection,” says co-owner and art expert Tracey Wynands. “It’s not often you get the opportunity to experience such a wide range of work in one place. We’re also thrilled to introduce several artists who are new to the gallery. There’s something for every budget, from smaller, accessible pieces to large statement works. The collection will have broad appeal as it covers contemporary urban styles through to traditional landscapes.”
For those curious about the creative process, Windsor Gallery is also taking part in Art Canterbury’s Open Studio event on 1 and 2 November, offering a rare glimpse behind the scenes of the art world.
The Premier Art Collection is free to view, with further details available through the website.
