If you want all the joy of Christmas without the pressure, cooking, and mountains of dishes, mix things up this year and celebrate your Christmas Day with a decadent buffet experience at Market Place Restaurant in the Crowne Plaza.
The halls will be decked, the carols will be played, and in true Christmas spirit, the Crowne Plaza team will keep the feast coming until you can’t fit in another bite.
You’ll be welcomed with a glass of bubbles (or a soft drink for the little ones) before easing into the celebration with artisan breads, Robinsons Bay olive oil, and locally churned butter.
The buffet itself is a festive showcase of both traditional Christmas fare and Kiwi favourites. Think classic stuffed turkey and honey-glazed champagne ham, alongside beloved Kiwi favourites such as mussels, prawns, baked salmon, and an array of decadent desserts. Attentive guests will also discover specialities from the Market Place Restaurant menu, including slow-cooked lamb shoulder and truffle-rubbed Angus ribeye.
On top of the superb food, Christchurch pianist Peter Lewis will play all your favourite Christmas tunes, making the restaurant on level 1, Crowne Plaza Christchurch, the best place to be with your friends and family on 25 December.
Seatings are available from 12.30pm to 9.30pm (with final bookings at 7.30pm). Prices are $198 per adult, $99 per child aged seven to 15 years old, and free for children under seven. View the full menu and book your spot online.
