Talking texture

Nothing speaks to me like textured clothing – it offers more impact and meaning than a simple garment.

Picture Kaia Gerber walking the Valentino Fall 2023 runway in jeans and a white button down, except those jeans were instead silk gazar embroidered with microbeads in 80 shades of indigo to resemble denim.

Contrasting materials trap heat to keep you cosy – all the while adding visual warmth.

In this story, inspiration comes from the looks I’ve seen out in the city and at events as the weather has cooled off. I love observing how the young and old play with textures and layering, from double denim to accessories that really offer something extra.
