A specialty area of expertise for Carpetbinders is loose-lay carpet mats for motorhomes and caravans. “We work with recreational van enthusiasts from all over New Zealand, hence our 48-hour turnaround policy,” says Michelle. “All you need to do is book ahead of time to let us know you are coming to us.

“We can make mats for your ‘home away from home’ in 48 hours, once we have the carpet. The turnaround is ideal for those passing through Christchurch on their nomad journey of discovery or vacation throughout the
South Island.”

5 ways to get your carpet pieces edged into practical mats

  • Call into the workroom, open from 8am on weekdays, and drop your carpet off.
  • Use the daily pick up and return delivery service for a nominal fee.
  • If you have one or two small mats, you can use the express service. Call before coming so they can slot you in.
  • Coming in from out of town for the day, drop your carpet pieces in first thing and collect before 4pm.
  • Dropping mats to be edged after hours, they have a clean weatherproof shed for you to use.
