Partner jaunts

Conferences often allow partners to attend, adding on special activities for them to make the most of their time in the host region.

Many events will have specific programmes for attendee partners, which they may or may not take advantage of. Christchurch has a huge array of options for visitors, and locals, and because of its central location is also well positioned for out-of-town activities.

From e-bikes to limo tours, wining, dining, and retail therapy, to arts and culture, the city and its surrounding environs offer so much to do, to explore, and to enjoy. Hop on a tram and tour the city, take a punt on the Avon River, or wander through Hagley Park are all activities within easy reach of most central city accommodation.

A day away may be to Hanmer Springs, or Kaikōura, or for rest and relaxation book into one of the many spas locally and away. The wider Christchurch area also boasts several top-notch golf courses, plus other options for the more athletic, including seasonal ski adventures.
