30 years of sweetness: Original Foods Baking Co

Practice makes perfect, and 30 years is certainly plenty of practice!

What started as a small Christchurch business is now one of the most trusted and loved bakeries in New Zealand. Original Foods Baking Co. has been baking delicious, sweet treats since 1991, celebrating 30 laps around the sun this year.

The proudly New Zealand owned, Wigram based business started out selling donuts to fish and chips shops, and from those humble beginnings has grown over the last 30 years to a multi-award winning, much loved bakery with over 180 wonderful staff members.

Company CEO, Anthony Honeybone said the whole team feels proud to reach the major milestone of three decades in business and would be celebrating it in style, unsurprisingly, with cake!

“We are humbled to have had the loyalty and support of all our customers for so many years and we want to give back, share and celebrate with as many people as we can,” he said.

And there is good reason for that customer loyalty! Be it birthday cakes, office shouts or party spreads, Original Foods Baking Co. take out the stress and time, with an offering of more than 100 kinds of delectable cakes, brownies, slices, and donuts.
