Try minimalist

Using less makeup doesn’t mean looking any less glowing, feminine or gorgeous.

Going minimalistic is all about making the most of natural features, using fewer products, but in smarter way. Luckily there are oodles of tantalising products to buy and try. If in doubt, talk to your favourite beautician and have them do a trial run.

Here’s a quick six step routine to get you going:

Clean and tone skin as usual. It’s important to start with a clean canvas.

Use a BB cream or tinted moisturiser. Both work well for a light coverage.

Lightly dust with a pressed mineral face powder to even out your complexion and make it glow.

Add blush or cheek colour. Use a liquid or cream product for a soft, dewy look.

Fill in brows with a clear gel or brow pencil, then lengthen lashes with a non-clumping mascara.

Finish with lip and eye colour. Try a tinted lip balm, and for the eyes a creamy formula in natural colours.
