This is reflected in feedback from delegates, local businesses, and results from ChristchurchNZ’s Conference Legacy Project.
In 2024, Te Pae Christchurch welcomed more than 80,000 visitors to over 220 events, and the pipeline looks strong. Our thriving business events sector is driving real value – fostering knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and innovation, while also attracting talent and raising Christchurch’s profile as a premier destination.
The ChristchurchNZ research revealed that a staggering 20% of respondents reported they are actively seeking to relocate to Christchurch to live, work and/or study. This is great news for our city, and will help to enrich our local workforce, drive economic growth and a culture of innovation.
