Less can be best
Minimal makeup means using only what you need to enhance your features.
As always, cleanse, tone, and moisturise before applying makeup.
Instead of a heavy foundation and concealer, try a glow-enhancing lotion that matches your skin tone, and/or a tinted moisturiser. The latter are available in hydrating formulas to add to your natural glow.
Think about using a primer too. Primers help foundations go on more smoothly, and last longer. Apply to clean skin before any type of foundation.
Eye makeup should be more neutral hues, instead of bold and bright. Try blending a small amount of neutral eyeshadow into your crease, then use a brown eyeliner to line your eyes.
Draw a thin line on your upper lid, and then use the brown eyeliner to accent.
Finish with a coat (or two at most) of black-brown mascara, which is softer than basic black. Stick to one or two coats so lashes look naturally lengthened.
Apply the same logic with lip colour. Bright red is out, softer colours are in. For a natural finish, apply to the middle of the lips and blend out with your fingers.
A quick spritz of setting spray and you’ll be good to go all day.
