With 15 years of running their boutique homestay in Waipara to their credit, Barb and Geoff Taylor have a solid reputation as excellent hosts.
Barb’s Place is a comfortable, pet-friendly B‘nB in the heart of the Canterbury wine-growing region, under an hour from Christchurch International Airport.
For peace and tranquillity after a long day, there is a beautiful garden to relax in and enjoy a glass of local wine.
The two large private bedrooms have a full en-suite and those little bathroom luxuries that really make a stay special. The truly sumptuous king beds, dressed in exquisite linen, will ensure a great night’s rest.
In the morning, breakfast of your own choosing will be available at your request. Hosts Barb and Geoff are masters of the cooked Kiwi breakfast, featuring home-produced eggs, honey and jams.
They can also cook up a country-style dinner for guests and suggest a lovely local wine to accompany it.
