Foodie scavenger hunt: International Culinary Studio

If you think you have sampled everything Christchurch has to offer, take note!

This fabulous event combining a Scavenger Hunt, Cooking Demonstration, and marvellous lunch is a fun way to celebrate Christmas with your team.

Created by The International Culinary Studio, you begin by meeting outside Rollickin Gelato at 98 Cashel Street. “Comfortable walking shoes and a jacket are de regueur,” says Cheryl Cordier, company director, “you walk a 90-minute route, answering cryptic clues along the way. You learn about culinary history and little-known foodie facts about our beautiful city. It’s not a race, you’ll stick together as a team, and bring your bank card in case you would like to support some local businesses along the way or buy a drink or two.”

Meeting back at International Culinary Studio, their expert chefs will demonstrate items on your menu, and then you get to enjoy your delicious lunch! During the meal you will link clues to the menu, to understand how it is created. Your lunch includes a mocktail on arrival, tapas buffet, and a three-course meal.
