Events with ease: Cashmere Club
Being the organiser of a big occasion shouldn’t mean that relaxing and enjoying the day is out of the question for you.
On the contrary, your reward should be having the most fun and basking in the glory of a brilliantly run event. The mother of Christchurch entertaining is the Cashmere Club and this venerable lady offers four function spaces. The large garden bar features wrap-around windows and overlooks the beer garden. Ideal for a summery event, it seats 100 to 120 people for a meal or 170 to 200 guests cocktail style. “This popular room has a private bar and stage,” says events manager Kayla Woolley.
A fabulous choice for a slightly smaller group, The Cashmere Lounge enables up to 70 people to sit down and dine, or 80 for nibbles.
“Open the expansive glass doors for a lovely flow to our outdoor area,” says Kayla. Small groups can book the Heathcote room for meetings and intimate gatherings, while the Sports Hall is great for recreational activities, quiz nights, and shows.
The wonderful Riverview Restaurant caters for set menus, platters, and buffets. “Our fabulous Head Chef Emma creates canapés and fine dining to meet all dietary requirements and budgets.”
