Mifan Chinese Restaurant in Woodend specialises in authentic, house-made Chinese dishes, with favourites including egg fried noodles and rice, satay pork and sweet and sour pork, and handmade wontons and dumplings.
“Most say they love our chef specialty dishes, the satay and sweet and sour pork,” says owner Shirley Xue. “Our wontons and dumplings are handmade here, and the dumplings are the chef’s own recipe.”
The restaurant is preparing to refresh its menu, with new dishes being introduced this year. But, for first-time customers, Shirley recommends starting with Mifan’s most popular dishes.
Shirley says customer feedback is central for Mifan’s growth. “We get a lot of good feedback, and we value hearing from customers to help us improve.”
