City apartment suites: Quest on Kilmore
Apartment accommodation just a short walk from the inner city’s biggest attractions.
There’s a palpable excitement in the air of Christchurch city. A long-awaited missing piece of the rebuild puzzle, One New Zealand Stadium, is about to open, bringing with it a host of world-class events and activities, including a performance by British pop star, Robbie Williams, as the first international act to headline the long-awaited venue. This should all mean great business for the accommodation venues of the city.
The owners of apartment hotel Quest on Kilmore, the latest addition to the Christchurch Quest network, could not be more excited. Aaron and Lucie Carpenter remember visiting the site of their hotel five years ago, when it was nothing but gravel, and comparing it to the elegant building it is now, so close to many of the wonderful facilities the transforming city has to offer.
Right opposite the Christchurch Town Hall, the hotel has 42 apartments ranging from studios to one or two bedrooms, each with a fully equipped kitchen and laundry. “Our rooms are spacious, comfortable and modern, and our guests feel relaxed here,” say Aaron and Lucie. “Another advantage for our guests is that we are so close to everything the city now offers.
There are excellent restaurants very nearby on Colombo and Victoria streets, and it is only a short walk to the Te Pae Convention Centre, The Court Theatre, Cathedral Square, the Art Gallery or Riverside Market. The stadium itself is a very manageable walk as well”.
Stay at Quest on Kilmore and experience the vibe that has the rest of the country envying Christchurch.
