Canterbury Home Show frequently asked questions
How do I get a free ticket(s)?
For the October 2026 Show, you can register for a free ticket or subscribe at canterburyhomeshow.co.nz to be on the ticketing database.
Closer to the show, you will receive an email link to register your free ticket. All you need to do is bring your free eTicket along on the day (either on your phone or printed) and show
it to the team at the door.
Don’t worry if you don’t get a chance to register beforehand, there’s registration screens at the entry that you can use to get your free ticket(s) also.
Do I need to register everyone in my family?
All attendees over 18-years need to be registered before entering. Anyone under 18-years old do not need to register as they should be accompanied by a registered, adult ticket holder.
How do I get to the Home Show?
Wolfbrook Arena, located at 55 Jack Hinton Drive in Addington (next to Addington Raceway), has over 4000m2 and plenty of free parking available if you’re coming by car.
Disability Parking is available directly opposite the front entry of the Arena in the main car park. Metro Bus Stops are located nearby on Lincoln Road and Whiteleigh Ave. Visit metroinfo.co.nz for timetables.
Taxis and Ubers are welcome to drop you off within the Arena precinct or right outside the door. If you’re biking in, racks are available and are located opposite the main entrance of the Arena in the car park area. Please ensure that you lock your bikes securely to the rack.
Is there wheelchair access?
Wolfbrook Arena provides wheelchair accessibility throughout. There are accessible toilets located in all bathrooms.
Can I buy from the stallholders at the Home Show?
Yes. Exhibitors will be selling their products at the Home Show, sometimes at a special Show-only discount.
Is there an ATM available at the Home Show?
There are no ATM machines at Wolfbrook Arena so get cash out before you arrive. Otherwise, most exhibitors do have eftpos/credit card payment facilities on their stands.
Is there a cost to attend one of the seminars?
No, all seminars are free to attend and seating is available on a ‘first come’ basis.
Is there a café or food available at the Home Show?
Yes, the venue has a popular onsite café serving a range of cabinet food and menu options.
How do I change the day of my ticket?
Your ticket will work on any day show day during the opening hours of 10am to 5pm.
Who organises the Show?
Exhibitions and Events New Zealand (EENZ) was established by Jane Ford, managing director. Its directors have over 40-years of experience developing many of Australia and New Zealand’s best trade and consumer shows. Their focus is on staging excellent exhibitions that meet unique requirements of clients, for both exhibitors and visitors.
