UNDER 12
For the youngsters, embracing summer involves diving into swimming pools and racing along inflatables. Grab your swimwear, sunscreen, and hats, and welcome the summer sun with a day at the pool.

TEENAGERS
Picture a warm afternoon spent with friends amongst the cities flourishing nature. Pack a picnic of fresh summer fruit, crackers and dips, and sweet treats and head to the Christchurch Botanic Gardens. Bring your current read or pack some painting supplies to keep entertained.

ADULTS

Spend a day with your grandchildren and take the scenic 90-minute drive to Akaroa. Explore the main street by morning, before indulging in fish and chips along the waterfront.
