A blooming good fete: Geraldine Summer Fete
Spring is well and truly here, and there is a hint of summer approaching.
There’s no better way to enjoy a day with friends and family than at the Geraldine Summer Fete on Thursday 2 November. Attracting around 4000 visitors from across New Zealand, the fete is now in its 14th year.
Attendees can expect a day of relaxing elegance among the spring blooms and towering trees of historic Stover, just 10 minutes north of Geraldine; a working farm that has been in the Mackenzie family for four generations.
The fete is the perfect opportunity to begin your Christmas shopping. There are some 200 high-quality artisan stalls, including homewares, art, garden, and lifestyle items, children’s and other fashion clothing. Here you will also find the stunning Talbot Silver Jewellery collection with its elegant bespoke pieces offering a chic timeless look. There is also plenty of delicious food to sample, and great entertainment from bands such as The Drama Queens and The Starlets.
