Make it cider: Seismic Cider

On a beautiful autumn day, what could be more refreshing than a deliciously bold cider? The popularity of craft cider is on the rise – and understandably so, it’s refreshing and taste great.

With a huge variety of ciders on the market, what you drink can depend on your personal flavour preference. It can be paired with food in the same way you would wine or beer and it’s a favourite among Kiwis, boasting high consumption rates.

The team at Seismic Cider has you covered when it comes to high-quality cider that will leave your tastebuds zinging. The boutique family-run cidery and orchard is based in the idyllic Horotane Valley, at the foot of the Port Hills.

Siesmic Cider grow its own apples, press, ferment, bottle, label, and keg everything onsite at its cidery. From there it’s distributed for your drinking pleasure. The range includes a semi-dry apple cider with notes of cherry and anise, an apple and black current cider, and a ginger and honey cider that is perfect for the cooler months.

You’ll find Seismic Cider on tap at a range of bars, restaurants and liquor stores around New Zealand, including at 12 Taps Cider House on Lichfield Street. Cider isn’t the answer, it’s the question – yes is the answer.
