A perfect day: Geraldine Summer Fete
With winter behind us and a hint of summer approaching, there’s no better way to enjoy a day with friends and family than at the Geraldine Summer Fete.
Attracting around 4000 visitors from across New Zealand, the Geraldine Summer Fete is now in its 13th year. Attendees can expect a day of relaxing elegance amongst the spring blooms and towering trees of historic Stover, just 10 minutes north of Geraldine, a working farm that has been in the Mackenzie family for four generations.
The Fete takes place on 3 November and is the perfect opportunity to begin your Christmas shopping. There are 200 high-quality artisan stalls, including homewares, art, garden and lifestyle items, children’s and other fashion clothing, as well as delicious food. You will also find the stunning Talbot Silver Jewellery collection with its elegant bespoke pieces offering a chic timeless look. If you can’t make the Fete, they will also be at the Canterbury A&P Show.
Many are looking forward to reconnecting with each other after a gloomy winter, and there can be few more enjoyable ways to celebrate than with a Pimms in the sunshine amid the flowers. So don your best hat and dress for a day of exclusive shopping in a relaxed country atmosphere.
