However, dig a little deeper and you will soon discover Canterbury’s own Ruru Furniture Manufactory, run by Andrew McGowan and his highly skilled team of artisans.
“Clients choose from our wide range of styles to create sofas, chairs, and ottomans to enhance their space and match their dimensions,” says Andrew. The Ruru showroom contains dozens of suites and hundreds of fabrics to select from, and the team can access hundreds more fabrics.
“Our New Zealand-made, solid, long life, and reliable products are sold directly to clients. We have a lovely showroom you can visit, or we can work remotely with you. Our role is to create exactly what you want right here in our Bromley factory,” says Andrew.
“Our motto is ‘we make for you’”; a rare luxury indeed.
