The property is ideal for every form of wedding from a large gathering of up to 200 guests to something more intimate.
The ceremony lawn with its archway looks across the valley to the mountains. Lawn seating, or grandstand-style seating rising up the bank are options. The paved canapé and drinks terrace is large enough for dining and inside options include the large reception hall and the smaller drawing room.
Vanessa Orr, the manager of Amuri Estate, is a highly experienced event manager. Wedding packages include an on the day event coordinator to ensure everything runs smoothly, who can also offer guidance throughout the planning process, and will address any questions or concerns about your big day.
“I love seeing couples’ days come together,” says Vanessa. Having a wedding destination with not only breathtaking views, but all the expertise needed for hosting large numbers makes the planning process that much more enjoyable.
For eats, Vanessa works with a selection of catering companies, most based in Christchurch, who travel up to use the on-site kitchen and bring your cuisine vision to life, be it buffet, plated or shared style food.
A modern and spacious barn-like building, comprising polished concrete floors and with many metres of glass doors for that amazing view is a great space for mingling and dancing.
