Revving through history: Casbolts motorcycles

It’s hard to imagine the Canterbury Motorcycle scene without Casbolts Motorcycles.

Established in 1932, Casbolts have catered for and inspired riders of all ages for generations. The roots of Casbolts affinity with two wheels go back as far as the late 1800s where the Casbolts family had a booming bicycle business.

Ninety years later, having become one of New Zealand’s leading motorcycle dealerships for many brands over the decades, Casbolts is the Christchurch home for Honda and the South Island home for Ducati. Honda has been part of the stable since 1962. Countless CB750s, Cubs, Fireblades and other iconic Honda bikes have left the Casbolts showroom over the years. This legacy continues with the latest CBs, CBRs, Cubs, and CRFs to name a few.

The same can be said for Ducati. Casbolts has the classic Italian L-twin engine soundtrack coarsing through their veins, with everything including the Scrambler, Supersport and Multistrada available.

Along with a comprehensive selection of bike accessories and riding gear, including probably the best selection of Shoei helmets in Christchurch, Casbolts very much is a one-stop-shop.

You don’t have to be a die-hard Honda for Ducati fan, but loving your bike is reason enough to swing by.
